ICC PORTFOLIO INVITATION

This project involved creating an invitation for Illinois Central College’s portfolio show. The design brief was simple, based on the theme of "Inspiration." The cover features a photo of my own sketches, which are displayed behind a computer that is in the process of designing. Sketches are where ideas transform from inspiration into reality, and I chose this scene to symbolize the journey of design moving from the digital realm into the real world. This concept also mirrors the transition students face as they leave school and enter the professional world, making it a fitting theme for an invitation to a final portfolio show. 

The colors used in the design are based on ICC’s official Pantone palette. The back of the card includes event details—where, when, and who—along with design elements from the front cover. Since this invitation was sent as a postcard, I had to work within the precise margin constraints of postal design.
